POTV Lobo and ONE Accessories: A Guide to Stems, Cooling, Water Bubblers, WPAs and Screens
Share
Short answer: if you use a POTV Lobo or POTV ONE, most of the improvement you can make comes from three parts: the mouthpiece stem, any cooling or water add-on, and the screens. Vapetrix stocks all three types of accessory. They are made by The Vapetrix as third-party accessories designed to fit these devices, not official POTV parts. This guide explains what each type does and how to choose, and it links to the products themselves.
We originally announced that stems, water bubblers, screens and adapters for the Lobo and ONE were on their way. Those products are now live, so this article replaces that announcement with a guide you can keep coming back to. Everything here is available in our POTV Lobo and ONE accessories collection.
A quick word on the devices
The Lobo is a compact, oven-style portable with a replaceable 18650 battery, USB-C charging, and a small oven suited to short sessions. The ONE is the smaller, simpler sibling, also USB-C, with a slightly slower warm-up. Both ship with a dimpled glass stem, and both accept the same kind of aftermarket stems. Several of our stems also list compatibility with the XMAX V3 Pro, so check each product page.
Step 1: pick a mouthpiece stem
The stem is the part you touch most often. It sets how the vapor is cooled before it reaches you and how the device feels in the hand.
Short stems
Our 45 mm half-black stems keep everything compact. They are the easiest to pocket and suit quick sessions where you are not fussed about extra cooling.
Long stems
The 120 mm sets, in straight or one angled and one straight, give the vapor more distance to cool. The angled option can also be more comfortable when the device is on a table.
Dimpled stems
Dimpled glass, like the dimpled cooling stem two-pack (which comes in several colours), adds a little surface area for cooling while keeping the same familiar feel as the stem in the box.
Step 2: add cooling
If you find the vapor a little warm, try a dry cooling stem. These add surface area for the vapor to pass across without needing water:
- Spiralled cooling stems guide vapor through a twisting path;
- Ultra cooling beads stem, slim cooling beads stem and super cooling glass beads stem use beads for more surface area, the last one being the longest at 130 mm;
- the globe glass stem adds a rounded cooling chamber.
Beads and spirals mostly change how the vapor feels rather than how much of it there is. If you like a warmer, denser draw, short stems will suit you better. If you want it cool and smooth, go longer and add beads.
Step 3: try water
Water filtration cools vapor further and softens the draw. There are two routes:
Bubbler stems and combos
- The water bubbler stem is a mini bubbler that replaces the mouthpiece and holds a small amount of water.
- The extra large water bubbler combo (150 mm long and 35 mm across, with a removable lid) and a smaller version (100 mm by 26 mm) hold more water and come as all-in-one sets with a WPA.
WPAs (water pipe adapters)
If you already have a water pipe, a WPA connects the device to it. Our 10 mm / 14 mm / 18 mm WPA two-pack covers the common joint sizes, and the 14 mm WPA stem is for standard 14 mm female joints. Check joint size before buying.
Practical tip: use only as much water as is needed to cover the percolator or bubbler openings. Overfilling makes the draw harder and can cause splashback. Empty and rinse after each use.
Step 4: capsules for quick reloads
Our glass dosing capsules come in a pack of 10, are open-topped with a glass screen, and are designed to make swapping loads easy without spills. Pre-fill a few at home, then drop one in when you are out. They are a handy way to save time if you take short sessions throughout the day.
Step 5: keep the screens fresh
Screens stop material from entering the airpath, and they wear out or clog eventually. Two options:
- reusable stainless steel screens, a pack of 20 in 304 stainless steel that are push-to-fit and washable;
- high airflow brass screens, a pack of 50 made for the Lobo.
Basic care
- Let the device cool before you fit or remove a stem.
- Clean glass with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush, rinse with warm water, and let it dry fully before use.
- Use gentle pressure when seating stems in the oven to avoid chips.
- Replace screens when airflow starts to feel tight.
Compatibility and shipping
These accessories are third-party parts, not official products of Planet of the Vapes. Product pages list what each part is designed to fit, and it is worth checking that before you order. Planet of the Vapes' own shipping page has stated that international shipping is paused, which is one reason people outside the US look elsewhere for accessories; our Journal article covers the details and may be out of date, so check the current position. Delivery details for our own orders are in the shipping policy.

- Simple upgrade: a long stem and a fresh set of reusable screens.
